Lounsbury Miramichi Sponsors the Children's Wish Foundation
Rob Mactavish of Lounsburys presenting Joanne Stewart (Miramichi Chapter
coordinator for Children's Wish Foundation) a check for $1000.
Children's Wish Foundation was founded in 1987 and since its conception,
51 children from the Miramichi and surrounding areas were provided with
a wish, each wish costs an average of $10,000,00.
Most wishes are for DisneyWorld or a Disney cruise, but we've had one that went to Hawaii, one that went to Jamaica and another one that received a swimming pool. Joanne Stewart has been involved with the Children's Wish Foundation since 2002 and has been the Miramichi Chapter Coordinator since 2007. As of 2013, she has raised $82,983,80. Her goal this year is to raise another $10,000,00 and perhaps reach an incredible $100,000,00 goal next year. For pledge sheets or to make a donation; you can contact her @ 627-5920. Lounsbury Miramichi Sponsors Second Annual Northumberland Horse Show
The Northumberland County Horse show would like to give a big thank-you
to LOUNSBURYS AUTOMOTIVE Miramichi for sponsoring our 2nd annual Horse
show.

This wonderful event involved Westren Pleasure, English and Gaming events. The show attracted Horse's and rider's from all over the province as well as outside the province. It was a 2 day show of competition for all ages.
The weekend was a great success,
we are so greatful to have had the opportunity to bring back light horse
competitions to the area and with the help of the our sponcers and
volunteers we will keep this annual event going with great plans for our
future shows , we are very excited to start planning for next year.

Lounsbury Miramichi Test Drive Challenge
During
the week of April 28th to May 2nd, $25 was donated for every test drive
taken in one of our Chevrolet's, Buick's or Gmc Trucks to support our
local Schizophrenia Society.

In February, Lounsbury Miramichi extended a Test Drive Challenge to all members and associates of the Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club, promising a $25 donation per test drive. Â As you can see, the Ski Club certainly accepted that challenge!
